Kyra Sedgwick

  

Kyra Minturn (born August 19th 1965) was an American actress as well as a producer and director. Her starring role was as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson on the TNT crime drama The Closer, she won the Golden Globe Award in 2007 as well as an Emmy Award in 2010. Alongside her iconic role, she also played an occasional role as Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine.



 



 Sedgwick received nominations for the Golden Globe award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995).
