Lauren Ash

  Lauren Elizabeth Ash was born on February 4, 1983, in Belleville, Ontario. Ash is well-known among the public for her performance in Superstore as Dina Fox. She is also a graduate of the Second City Toronto Mainstage and Second City Chicago mainstage and is part of the sketch comedy duo "Cory!" She is a Canadian Comedy Award recipient for the title of Best Female Improviser twice in 2006 and 2007 and was also awarded for Outstanding Female Performance Television in 2012 as well as in the year 2015. In 2015 she was nominated in the category of Best Female Performances in a Feature Film for her character Carol in Dirty Singles. She also appeared on the show that pranks "Scare Techniques". Lauren together with Christy Oxborrow, co-hosts "True Crime and Cocktails", her podcast.
